*The Bovada app is the best choice for USA players (since others don’t always accept real money players from the US).
Back to the MyVegas app with real comps:
MyVegas
The game itself is as good as most slot apps out there. Very good graphics and decent gameplay. Slot machines include: Luxor, Reel Chef, Frontier Fortune and Pirate Cove. And many more. Enough to keep you busy ;-). Playing will earn you ingame credits, increasing your chance to win the real comps. Ofcourse you do have to ability to purchase more credits (and faster) in-game. Gampelay is good, but nothing special. However it’s the real comps and awards that might keep you coming back for more.
Travel to Vegas
You get a chance to win a trip to Vegas! Or you can win many tickets to stages and showrooms, including Cirque du Soleil and concerts at the Mandalay Bay Beach. Rooms are also included in some of the rewards, making it possible to win a stay at places like the MGM Grand or The Mirage. For a complete list of all the comps, check out MyVegas.com.
So even if you have to travel to Las Vegas on your own cost, there are enough prizes to make your stay extra comfortable or luxurious.
If you were looking for an app that will reward you in a tangible way, then myVEGAS slots free casino app is just that. You no longer have to bank on your virtual money that you can never use because you are merely playing a game. It is the only free casino app which offers its players the opportunity to earn real-world rewards like adventurous travel and stunning entertainment.
This app is surely doing something right, as it has over 150,000 5 star rating on Google play. It has been distinguished as the fastest growing Casino App on Android. This is probably because it has partnered with the following Vegas royalty:
- Bellagio
- ARIA
- MGM Grand
- Cirque du Soleil
- Wolfgang Puck
Whether you are a professional gamer with years of experience and well-honed in skills, in essence, a slot genius, or are just trying out this app to see what the big deal and buzz is really about, you are sure to want to play this game again and again, until you have mastered every special trick in the book.
This app can be downloaded from the Google Play store. On Facebook, this is the top rated slots app, promising hours of endless fun for real wold rewards. So if you want to have an out of body Vegas experience, a few minutes on the myVEGAS slots free casino app will give you the most rewarding feeling ever. If you have ever played famous Las Vegas type slot app, like for example the OmniSlots app, a lot of these slotmachine will probably feel very familiar allready.
New games – Shaq
Shaquille O’Neal, only one of the biggest (not only literally) basketball legends ever to exist, he is now starring in not one but two mYVegas games in the app: Caddy SHAQ and SHAQjack. Caddy SHAQ is a reel slot game in a golfing theme. It’s actually are real fun videoslot with some really nice bonus features. SHAQjack is a Blackjack game, with a table layout based on the basketball game that Shaquille is famous for. It’s not the best Blackjack mobile game we’ve seen so far, but it sure is a lot of fun.
Another really fun new slot is the Around the World in 80 Days Slot, obviously based on the famous novel by Jules Verne, in which man has to use the most modern type of machines (at the time) as well as the classic means of transportation to win a bet to travel around the globe in no more then 80 days. The Vegas style slot version is very fun to play, in a special touch version ofcourse.
Other popular apps
When we are between Vegas trips, my wife and I will play online slots. I play some slots when we go to Vegas, but I much prefer tables games. However, these online slots do help scratch a certain itch. Sometimes, they can help you earn some comps. Let’s run down some of the options.
Common Characteristics of Online Slots
Every version of online slots you will find share a few things in common. First, you will earn free coins every so often that allows you to keep playing. The time between these free coins, and the number of coins, changes with each app.
Almost all of the online slots have levels. Going up in level usually unlocks different games. Sometimes, going up in level will increase the maximum bet allowed. Along with levels, there is often another point/currency/status system used for one reason or another. Sometimes leveling this up increases the number of free coins, sometimes they can be used for actual real-world rewards. Usually, there is a way to buy coins which may reward you with bonus points in this ‘other’ system.
There may be some unique features offered, depending on the app you’re using. We don’t have the ability to cover all of the possibilities. Also, not all of the online slots apps are affiliated with a casino. And since this is a blog about Las Vegas, casinos, and gambling we’ll leave those alone.
Wynn
Wynn slots is the online slots offering from Wynn. This game is available only on mobile and is currently my favorite (Wynn is currently my favorite property, so I’m maybe biased). You earn gems as you play. Gems can be redeemed for free nights at Wynn Las Vegas. With the opening of Encore Boston Harbor, it would be nice to see this program expand to other properties.
You can play entirely for free and earn gems. As you earn gems, the number of coins wagered to earn a new gem increases. There are three levels of free coins offered, the most frequent of which is every fifteen minutes. If you are diligent about collecting you can earn a multiplier that tops out at 3x. Eventually, the grind to earn a gem will be too cumbersome to continue earning a meaningful amount. It would be nice if buying coins also offered a small number of gems, but that’s not the case.
There are also events that offer objectives to players. Players are aiming to spin 500 times in any game or 50 times in a specific game. Other objectives are to win a certain number of free spins. Each completed objective awards a scratcher that will aware more coins.
I collect my free coins a few times per day until I have a fair amount to play or there’s an event that I enjoy. At this point, I set my phone or tablet up to auto-spin and let it go. In a couple of months of doing this, I’ve earned enough gems to get a free night at Wynn (depending on when I book). I suspect the value of this comp will deteriorate over time. Until then I’m all in.
MyVegas
MGM Resorts has a handful of online slots options under the MyVegas umbrella. Currently, MyVegas is my second favorite family online slots apps. Some of these can be played on your computer via Facebook. Some of them are only for mobile devices. Sometimes there is a version exclusive to each, but they share a name. As you play these games you earn loyalty points that can be redeemed for comps at MGM properties.
For the mobile versions, be prepared to dismiss a lot of popups. All of them are trying to get you to spend money. To be fair, Wynn has a popup, too. Singular. MyVegas apps have anywhere from two to five. Free coins are offered every few hours and you can send coins to friends if you both have your Facebook accounts linked to the app.
Over time the value of offered comps has deteriorated. It’s logical to expect the value to continue to deteriorate. Some of the restrictions make them nearly unusable. Getting $20 in free play sounds great, but you have to have a three-night stay booked at that property to use it. So if you’re staying at Mandalay Bay, you can’t redeem your comp at Luxor for free play. It doesn’t matter that you’re staying at another MGM property, you have to be staying at that property.
You can have multiple apps open and spinning at once. Doing this, I built up enough MyVegas loyalty points that I don’t feel like I need to continue. I’ve not stayed at an MGM property in a very long time. Therefore, I’ve not been able to use these offers. I didn’t feel like it was worth continuing the grind.
Caesars
Caesars has a few online slots apps (and a couple of bingo games) available. All of the games are developed by Playtika, which used to be owned by Caesars Interactive Entertainment. Like the MGM apps, there are mobile versions and web-based versions. Also, like the MGM apps, you can have multiple apps open spinning away.
Be prepared for popup ads. Holy crap the popups. You can link your Facebook profile and your Caesars Rewards account and earn Rewards Credits when you purchase coins. This is the extent of any comps or rewards. To be clear, these aren’t comps. This is a horrible exchange of real money into comp dollars at pennies on the dollar.
Eldorado Resorts Online Slots
Eldorado Resorts also has online slots available. The only way I see to earn anything redeemable in the form of comps is to spend real money. As of now, I have no desire to spend money with Eldorado. The only reason is that the only property near me is a racino that doesn’t have table games, so I prefer to not go. The app itself feels cheaply made. It doesn’t make me want to play. So, I don’t.
It will be interesting to see what happens with this and Caesar’s many apps once the merger is complete. Which one will stick around?
Penn National Online Slots
Penn National offers online slots in the form of Hollywood Casino and Viva Slots Vegas. I’ll give them props on the Viva name (I’m a sucker for a play on words), but the app itself has the exact same look and feel of the Eldorado app. There are different icons here and there, but I wonder if they used the same developer.
Again, the only way I can see to earn any comps is to spend real money. This earns points in Penn’s MyChoice player rewards program that can be used as comps and free play at their properties. My understanding is the points earned are the same ratio as if you spend money at one of their properties. There is a Hollywood casino in my area. I enjoy the property, but it doesn’t have a hotel. If it did, we’d probably go more often because we wouldn’t have to worry about getting home.
If you live near a Penn National casino, or really like the Tropicana in Vegas, maybe this is an online slots app for you to check out to maybe earn some points.
Four Queens and Binions Online Slots
Both have online slots. Being ‘sister’ properties, owned by the same company, it’s unclear if the comps you earn are interchangeable between the properties. Again, the only way I can discern to earn points is to spend real money. This isn’t something I’m going to do as neither of these properties is where I’m trying to find a comp.
As a plus, both of these offer video poker as well as slots. The look and feel of these apps feel better than Eldorado and Penn, but only slightly. I found the navigation could be a little easier. The graphics in the games themselves just feels dated, as if you were playing a slots game on your Windows 95 PC.
Free Slots Of Vegas Download
There may be other, smaller, casino operators that offer online slots. I am not aware of them. To be honest, I didn’t seek them out because I don’t frequent (or live near) one. There are many online slots apps that are not affiliated with any casinos. One offers a way to earn Amazon gift cards by earning points. Some playtesting and then basic math came out to almost 18mo of daily play at around one hour per day to earn a $5 gift card. No thanks.
